Florence Scovel Shinn Affirmations for Prosperity and Success

In my spiritual journey, I've come across some pretty powerful information regarding the mindset one must have to live a peaceful and fulfilling life. There are so many brilliant authors and amazing book out there. Florence Scovel Shinn is one of my favorites.

The way she explains Spiritual Law is very palatable and easy to understanding. Her words will make you feel inspire to take charge of your life, knowing everything you want is already yours by Divine Right. Growing up with a Christian background, I appreciated the way she incorporated God into her teachings.

Many people see teachings like hers, and others, as some New Age type of religion. It isn't. There are many connections of these teachings to the Bible. For me, that made me more comfortable to explore those types of books and principles and learn about the authors of these books.

Here are a few of my favorite quotes by Florence Scovel Shinn and how they've helped me in my own life.

"My God is a God of plenty and I now receive all that I desire or require and more."

God, The Most High, is the creator of all things. God is a limitless being and so am I. So are you. God lives inside all of us. Knowing that the same power that created the universe lives inside of you, that you too have the ability to create anything you can imagine, is a very liberating and powerful feeling.

Imagine the things you want most in life, hold on to the feeling you get when you think about it. Hold on to how you would feel obtaining those things. Imagine walking into your dream home, or looking out of a window to see your dream car parked in your driveway. The overwhelming happiness you feel in that moment is the key to unlock all of your dreams.

"I spend money under direct inspiration wisely and fearlessly, knowing my supply is endless and immediate."

This one to me means to spend and not be burdened with the sense of lack. Knowing in your heart that whatever you spent is for the greatest good and not greater. That it benefits everyone and everything. Money is a currency and spending with the sense of lack, can attract more hardship. This doesn't mean to be wasteful with your resources, this means to spend on meaningful things.

"I see clearly and act quickly and my greatest expectations come to pass in a miraculous way."

When we desire (I used this word for a reason) something we think of ways to obtain it. We we consider the things we have control over. But we too often find ourselves consumed with the thoughts of the things that we can't control. That can put us in an endless cycle of thinking and not really getting anything done.

Act quickly on the things you can control, fully believing the infinite power of God that lives in you, will clear the path to your goal. And it will be delivered in ways you couldn't imagine.

"I make friends with hindrances and every obstacle becomes a stepping-stone. Everything in the Universe, visible and invisible, is working to bring to me my own."

Have you ever had a moment where you wanted something to work out so badly, but it just didn't? And you had to walk away from that idea, or person, or whatever? Has it ever been replaced with something better? I honestly believe these happens more often than not in our lives.

I challenge you to think about it. It can honestly be as small as finding a new favorite, when your usual is unavailable. Take time to celebrate those moments to attract more of them.

It works, if you work it.
